Maria Agustina Sampaolesi

I am a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Nottingham. I completed Masters in Economics at Columbia University and Universidad de San Andrés. I have experience in both the public and private sectors, having worked for the Bank of England, the World Bank, the Argentinian Ministry of the Treasury, and McKinsey & Company.

My research interests lie broadly in macroeconomics, with a particular focus on monetary, international, firm dynamics, and growth.

I am visiting UC Berkeley for Spring 2025, hosted by Emi Nakamura.
